Man, this Studio class is killing me...
My teacher only lets us shoot in Black and White film (i don't mind that part) and makes us develop the photos in the darkroom...(I mind this part)
Im really stressed out because of this...
Its slows down the whole process like crazy...
I understand the whole concept of how hard it is to really print good digital black and white photos...
but i havent printed Black and White in the darkroom for 4 years.....
Ive never used the black and white facilities in our school too..so i have to relearn it all.
Its so intimidating...
dont get me wrong...I respect black and white darkroom printing...
I'm even thinking about taking darkroom III next semester...
BUT
for studio i feel like its too much...
Working in the studio itself is already so demanding...
and then on top of that you have to develop your film..and then print 10 prints every week in the darkroom...and by the time you see your prints...if you realized you messed up you have to reschedule another time for the studio...re shoot and then develop that film and print those pictures again...
This class is taking over my whole semester...
im struggling to catch up in my other classes...
even when im not at school im constantly thinking about this one class...trying to work out the schedule in my mind hoping it everything goes the way i plan....
and the sad thing is..i haven't used my mamiya yet...
we only allowed to shoot 35mm for the first few weeks....
I already miss color...natural lighting...ahhhh
arg
I should pray about this...
maybe i need to open my mind up more...
take more challenges....
i can do this....
@!#$%^&*
