Engagements

I am not engaged...
but every time I go on Facebook
a new friend gets engaged or uploads a wedding album...
I would be lying if I said I didn't care...
truth is a little teeny tiny piece of me gets jealous haha
I think this is what long distance does to a person...
makes them want to get married faster...
I just realized I've been dating my boyfriend longer then some of my friends and their HUSBANDS...dang
in October we will be celebrating our...7th year...
funny thing is...during the first 4 years...i would always proudly tell people...
yes, we been dating for 4 years...
inside i would be like, yeah....you heard it..4 years baaaaby!
but now its more like...
"um we've been dating a long time..."
"how long?"
"um...reaally long....too long hahah..."
its embaressing now
because before i got the all the surprised, "aww thats cute" look
but not i get the shocked and "dang!? why arn't you married?" look
now that CM is 25 im starting to realize were getting to that age where people really settle down and get married...
i guess before i would only think of my age and still think i had so much time...
we've been talking about it lately
fortunately we are both really ambitious so its not going to happen until were like...30 hahah
