Gay Pride Parade....Lakeview

Ugh
I'm so hungry its not even funny...
I would go out and get some food but...I just scored this really great seat at caribou and I don't want to give it up....
maaaaan...my stomach is grumbling...
im staring at the selection of food they have and !@#$ their sandwiches are waaaaay to overpriced! WDF!
$6.25 for HALF a sandwich i can make at home?!
uh...no...sorry...not gonna do that
maybe i can tough it out..
ah who am i kidding..im huuuuuungry!

ok well ill just write about my weekend..since it is Monday...
Saturday..i didn't really do anything...
Sunday was kind of the "fun" day for me..
First i went to church...which was great...im really sad that pastor Ah Mi is leaving...Her sermons are always full of so much conviction and emotion...im really gonna miss her...
After church i somehow randomly ended up in Lakeview...
wow, where do i even start?
some of you Chicagoans may know...Sunday was Gay Pride day...
It seems as though all my friends conveniently live RIGHT on the street where they have the parade every year Haha.
My roommate and i were starving so we decided to go to Bamee a REAALLY delicious and CHEAP thai restaurant right on Broadway...
The moment i got off the bus i was already overwhelmed with people everywhere...
It was pretty crazy...
my roommate and I weaved our way through the streets trying to get to the restaurant...
there were drag queens and half naked people everywhere...
occasionally we would have to step over a few people passed out in their own puke...yeah..prettttty nasty.
I was kinda dissapointed...i thought this parade was going to be more about Gay rights rather than getting drunk and being naked and overly sexual...
Ive never seen so many gay men in their underwear in my life.
Props to them...they have the guts to walk around naked all day haha
I saw some of the most beautiful drag queens in the most elaborate costumes i have ever seen in my life...
I never knew men could make such beautiful women...
when we finally got to the restaurant we realized that the parade was about to start right in front of where we were sitting.
Little did we know what was coming hahaha...
so we got our food and started to chow down...and suddenly we hear people screaming...
and for the next 45 min to an hour floats after floats of Gay men started to pass with very loud techno music...
at first we just laughed and cheered...
but then...as time passed...you can tell the people were getting more and more drunk...
soon..there was just waaaaay to much skin being shown and my roommate and i was pretty...well disgusted...
there were men fully just exposing themselves...
If you look down at the picture of my roommate you can see her reaction to what we were seeing...
yeah, well finally the parade ended and people just went crazy into the streets...
beer cans all over the place...
i met up with my friends at argo tea and tried to kill time...
we ended up going to Sura for drinks...
i must say...that resturant is nothing like it seems from the outside...
the moment you step in its amazing how dirty the restaurant is...
from the outside the restaurant looks amazing..very modern and space like...
I ordered a mojito..that was just way to strong and taste like Cold medicine...
Gavin ended up drinking the rest of my drink because it was just way to nasty...
its amazing how quickly alcohol kicks into my system..
I think its because im just not use to it anymore and my body doesn't know how to handle it.
It was only 4 o'clock and i was so tipsy...but i was trying to keep my cool in front of my friends haha. I just got really quiet and my eyes were constantly in squint mode.
Oh wait, i forgot to talk about the best part of the day!
before i met up with my friends at Argo i decided to go to Gap really quickly with Junghwa to look at their sale selection...
on the way in this gay guy and his friend slapped our butts yelling, Oh my gawwwd you girls are soo cute!
....
in that moment a fire just rushed through my body... i could feel the horns coming out of my forehead haha.
But heres the crazy part...
normally i would of stopped and just jumped these two people and start pummeling them to the ground without a word....
but instead...i stopped walking...and turned around and glared at them both and smiled and asked very calmly...
excuse me..did you just hit my butt?
This must of scared the crap out of these two because they stopped smiling...
then they asked...oh..you two arn't together?
i looked at Junghwa and said.."uh...no.."
Junghwa just looked at me like...WDF? haha
I guess the two guys were really scared because they kept repeating how cute we were...
but i completely ignored there comments and said..
"i know...but dont touch me"

hahaha
yea... i know...im a bitch

after that i was on constantly booty guard...ready to jump anyone who touched me...
hmm but im kinda worried now...do i look like a lesbian? hahahaha
