back to the windy city...

ah, it was just way to hot and humid to lug my camera around so i only took a few pictures at home...
i would update more but my eyes wont stay open...
I also just finished reading the Korean news online and it has again put me in a very depressed and angry mood...
There is seriously something weird going on in korea...
so many rapes and murders its really scary...
If i was a girl living in Korea i would never go out past 8...
but these days even if your home you have to be careful...
I was talking to a really close friend about her time in Korea and she told me about how she was walking home from school (it was in broad daylight) and she noticed a man was followng her...
she was on the cell phone so she didnt think much of it...
but then she started noticing the man walking behind her into her apartment complex...
when she got into the apartment complex she started to walk faster...
to her horror, the man started to speed up behind her...
she started to bolt up the stairs but the man caught her and put his hand over her mouth and whispered..."you move and ill kill you"
but my friend was really lucky because i guess someone started to come up the stair and the man ran away...
man..as my friend told me this story i could really feel the fear...
We both know that God was definitely watching her that day...
but its just crazy because it seems as though these senario's are becoming very common in Korea...
every time i read the news paper there is a new attack...
just recently I read about a south African women who was attacked in her apartment in Ulsan...
man...its just so disgusting what these people are doing to the women...
it really makes me angry...
just the fact that we women have to constantly protect ourselves from this is so ridiculous...
these days we cant even walk alone in broad daylight feeling safe...
